Donald Trump Re-election Odds as per Jyotish

July 14th, 2020

Recently I have gotten a lot of requests for analyzing Donald Trump’s chart for predicting whether he will be re-elected come the General election in USA on Nov 3, 2020

Disclaimer – The article takes a stab at the Trump’s chart (from the publically known birth data) & the aim is to give a Jyotish opinion on the same. This opinion is not reflective of mine or any other individual’s personal opinion on Trump or his presidency, rather an un-biased Jyotish fact based attempt at predicting the Nov 2020 election outcome

In context of the above disclaimer, let me also make a couple of technical disclaimers here -predicting binary events like Pass/ Fail, Elected/ Not-elected are more tricky than usual as they depend on various other factors, for example in this case the strength of the opponent’s birth chart and current period running for the opponent etc. Secondly since Jyotish is very sensitive to the available birth data, making predictions out of a chart cast from purely publicly available data adds another dimension of uncertainty to the chart.

So now with this said, let us examine Trump’s chart as per the Rodden AA rated data available for him –

born on14 June 1946 at 10:54 (= 10:54 AM )
PlaceJamaica Hospital Queens (Queens County), New York, 40n42, 73w4859

Without going into most details, the D1 (rasi) & D9 chart along with longitudes of the basic planets is as follows-

Trump was born with Leo rising at about 6 degrees and 30 minutes in the Magha nakshatra

Like any chart, there are many good & bad salient features of the chart. Some important points of strength to note are –

  1. Lord ascendant, ,Sun, is very strong with high directional strength (10th rashi and 11th bhaav). Shad bal for Sun is also very high
  2. Moon as the 2nd luminary (note for any luminary ascendant chart, both luminaries always become vital for determining the strength of the chart) is in a cancellation of debilitation (neecha bhang raj yoga) situation and being in the 4th rashi has full directional strength in the chart
  3. It is a full moon, further enhancing the power of the moon
  4. In addition to the ascendant rashi, the lagna nakshatra lord is exlated in scorpio in the 4th rashi (5th bhaav)
  5. The inmical planet for the chart – saturn is very weak in the 12th rashi and bhaav (which causes a vipreet raj yoga as saturn represents 6th house of enemies making the enemies weak or dysfunctional)
  6. Rahu & Ketu – co-rulers of the 4th and 7th bhaavs are exalted in the 4-10 rashi and 5-11 bhaav chart
  7. Yoga karaka planet Mars is placed strongly in the ascendant, very close to the bhaav madhya of 1st house forming a sun-mars rajyoga in the lagna
  8. Jupiter ruling 5th (MK) is a karaka planet and friendly to lagna lord sun. Sun and Jupiter have a strong 5-9 sambandha in the chart
  9. the lord of 2nd an 11th (wealth houses) is very strongly placed in the 11th making a strong Dhan yoga

saturn connects with moon and venus and thus profession related to properties, hotels and luxury and entertainment related factors for most of his life (venus and Moon karakatva)

However also lurking below many good factors giving him wealth and raj yoga are the following factors –

  1. Sun as the significator for soul is also the lagna lord and hence a double karaka for personality in this case. Deeply conjunct with rahu, sun gets eclipsed by Rahu and the character becomes unstable, unreliable and probe to lie and cheat. such a character will always be driven by materialistic pursuits – wealth and power (tendencies of rahu)
  2. Moon even though very strong and karaka, is in deep eclipse and close conjunct with ketu giving a mind/ emotions which can be completely detached from normal emotions/ feelings
  3. Jupiter and sun, though placed well are both in inmical signs and Rahu trinal to jupiter also forms a guru chandal yoga (negative) in addition to the double grahan yoga _both sun and moon are eclipsed astrologically
  4. There is partial kaal sarp yoga (all planets on one side of rahu-ketu axis) which amplifies the negativity of the nodes
  5. This becomes a heavily node dominated chart and usually such charts have steep ups and downs and their fortunes can rise and fall very rapidly
  6. Scorpio becomes Arudha lagna (AL) and the karaka of AL moon is full in AL itself. All this intensified by ketu and the intensity of the powerful, controlling and destructive sign of scorpio shows the external manifestation of his personality to the rest of the world

I can go on and on for both the positive and negative points, but the idea here is to keep this brief in context of the re-election and thus the above points are enough for now-

Rahu in any chart is the reflector. It gives us desires and obsessions of all sorts. when exalted these materialistic tendencies are amplified manifold. rahu will reflect the rashi depositor but most specifically any planet that conjuncts it or is trinal to it or aspects it. In this case Jupiter – sun combination in trinality is a raj yoga as it involves 1-5 lords combination. Sun is the karaka of government and leadership roles and Rahu being the diplomat is the 2nd karaka for politics in addition to moon and sun. 5th house is considered the seat of power in politics and in this case ruled by Jupiter. So rahu absorbed the raj yoga formed by jupiter-sun trinality. Any planet in the sign of taurus tends to give results towards the end of its dasa and rahu was no different for Trump. When the yoga karaka well placed in lagna antardasha ran in 2016, Rahu gave the full results of its placement of 10th rasi -career, 11th (gain) and reflected the raj yoga of sun and jupiter giving a high political office.

Following this was Jupiter MD with Jupiter antardasha which ensured Trump’s swearing into the post and first 2.25 yrs (approx) of this presidency. Interesting to note about Rahu – it will absorb the functional and generic nature of planets in conjuncts/ trines but will also cause these planets to absord the nature of rahu – disruptions, sudden reversals etc. Thus Rahu dasa can give raj yoga and jupiter sun can revert it when the right antardasha and transit combinations occur

Saturn even though causing vipreet raj yoga will give ill health (6th lord and karaka of illness) and loss of position (career karaka in 12th of loss and fall from position). saturn is karaka for profession is also conjunct 10th lord (house of profession) both in the 12th house which represents loss. from Arudha lagna they go into 9th rashi but 8th bhaav. 8th is reversals and sudden endings and hence the 8-12 effect is ingrained in saturn in this chart which is not happy sitting in rashi and navamsa of its enemy moon.

Rahu is returning to its natal position in Taurus in transit on Sep 19, 2020. This will be over sun and trinal to the MD lord Jupiter and all the above effects of Jupiter-sun-rahu that I mentioned will be activated. Even though Rahu can sometimes give sudden gain in such scenarios and unexpected results, I think its negative impact on the MD lord reactivating Guru chandal is bad for Trump’s career as well as health and longevity. Jupiter- Rahu and saturn-ketu are 2 classical combinations always negative for health and longevity of the individual

Further transit of saturn and jupiter will both be in the 6th house from lagna and 3rd from arudha lagna for Trump and Antardasha will be negative saturn, Pratyantar dasha will be rahu of reversals and change of place/ position. All this clearly indicates a change of his life style following the end of the year and a loss of job/ position.

Thus my prediction is that Donald Trump is set to LOSE the general election and his bid to get re-elected in November 2020. It is also a period very negative for his health and he needs to be careful on this.

Since jupiter in transit is not entering Capricorn till November 20th 2020, I feel there is some potential for a delay in result announcement or clarity on the full results (even with the main results known) till November 20th 2020

  1. Sundar says:

Thanks Vivek. The guru chandal yoga made him get power ( 5th lord of power, Guru) through questionable means. With the yoga activated already by the Guru MD and Rahu coming back to Taurus to amplify the yoga, another attempt to subvert the elections all but surely will be made. It might be successful this time too if not for the Saturn AD and the Saturn transit. Natal Saturn is double activated and aspects Guru from the twelfth bhaav of loss. Guru being rendered weak by its 3rd bhaav position becomes more susceptible to Saturns drishti and will be unable to get him the power of the fifth. Thanks.

    • VS says:

Not really. Jupiter can not provide nor sustain yoga. Its tonality to a strong sun and exalted rahu along with jupiter being a general and functional benefic from both lagna, chandra lagna and arudha lagna helped sustain during jupiter/ jupiter but not without endlessly controversy and even impeachment etc.

Rahu close to sun technically is always bad but in this case can give a shaky yet strong raj yoga (note rahu was in Leo during rahu MD when he got elected) but the scandals were well underway even before election in 2016

Jupiter will reflect rahu and cause reversal during saturn MD. Saturn transit in capricorn while saturn MD running will give ill health, loss of reputation and status and a fall of stature (saturn in 12th or afflicted in 10th is classical fall from position and grace)

Moon is the best yoga karaka in this horo despite being eclipsed.saturn and venus depositing in moon sign and navamsa gave support for continuation despite impeachment but once Jupiter is done with saggi for good and into capricorn on Nov 20th it’s all over for trump unfortunately

Jupiter in saggi next 4 months and when rahu comes into taurus on sep 19 2020 will give a temporary boost to his image but nothing sustainable nor strong enuff for re election

Great analysis! A similar analysis on Joe Biden (main opponent of DT) will give more insight. Thanks

Thanks Vivek for taking the time to share your views on this topic. Certainly a ton of learning here not only from your write-ups but also the Q&As with Sundar/ others. This post also had some new concepts (esp on nodes) that I’m left to marinate on for some time.

An excellent analysis. It is very educative and inspiring. Thanks.
Using JHora Software ( Ayanamsa 23-05-38.60) and the given birth data , I got Jupiter MD and AD from 22-03-2016. I have been relying on JHora for my calculations. Please enlighten. Regards

Hello: For some reason , for Jamaica NY, JH defaulted to 5 hours away from GMT. For Trump it should be 4. Please check

  6. Andrew says:

Jupiter is stationary direct in Trump’s chart.

    • VS says:

yes as the karaka of 2nd and 11th and related to mercury (in virgo) which rules 2nd and 11th that is a good wealth giving planet for him and will also cause the end of life with the 2nd and 8th connection from lagna and 2 and 11th from arudha lagna

    • Kamandi says:

So is Joe Biden’s — as well as highly exalted AND in the wonderful 9th house.

  7. Shane says:

I would greatly appreciate if you could do the chart of Joe Biden & the inaguration day of the new president (21st of January 2021).

    Hello VS:
Re: Trump’s chart from a Rasi dasa angle, Meena dasa and Simha AD during election.
In D-1 Meena activates all dual rasis and 11th lord Budha is sitting in Mithuna, so Budha influences Meena. So, all kendras from Meena are given aspects by Budha. Also, in D-10 in Meena, lagna lord Venus is exalted with YK Saturn.

In Simha AD, YK Mars aspects the 9th. In D-10 the chara rasis come into docus. Sun and Rahu are in Tula lagna, 10 lord Mars is in Aries, Guru in Makar.
    These look very good.

    Can you please comment?

    • VS says:

there are dozens, if not hundreds, of dasa both in nakshatra based systems as well as rasi based. almost never will they all give similar results. further interpreting all of them like we interpret basic vimshottari is also not correct

all in all, I stick with basic vimshottari along with transit analysis. Typically these 2 combined are strong enough to show the trend

      • Sundar says:

Phew! Thanks VS, I am breathing a sigh of relief for now. I am hoping your prediction will come true. I fully understand that you have not taken sides. I just want a sense of normalcy return to the country and the world in general.

        • VS says:

mars transit in aries and jupiter in saggi being his 5th and 9th lords in their own signs in transit will certainly give a temporary benefit to his chances/ polls. however none of this is sustainable as jupiter is now heading towards its deep fall and changes into capricorn on Nov 20th ’20. overall rahu transit into taurus will make him more aggresive as rahu returning over itself and over sun his lagnesh. expect a lot of drama till Nov 20th, but I dont see anything in Trump’s chart strong enough to sustain another election victory and continued presidency in shani antardasa

his health will take a hit, especially from Nov onwards and since 6-12 axis activated, lots of litigation coming his way along with trips to hospitals

          • Sundar says:

Guru though technically in Dhanur is still 7 degrees from Saturn, so Saturn’s influence on Guru is substantial. So Guru’s aspect on his lagna is partially bad. I see the current destruction that’s happening with fires and floods as being related to this conjunction.

          • Sundar says:

Re: your observation about a temporary image lift that transitting Rahu will give..
Ginsberg has passed on and he will install a conservative women in the SC.
It will give the image lift to himself foremost due to Rahu conjunct lagna lord and secondly in the mind of his supporters due to the Natal Sun/Moon opposite positions and Rahu coming over Sun.

  9. Neelakanta says:

    Dear VS,
Thank you for your good prediction. According to one source, Trump was born same day but at 9:51 instead of 10:54 with Kataka Lagna instead of SimhaLagna. What do you think? This timing quite closely coincides with his behavior and style. Please give your opinion on this. Thank you also for sharing your very good knowledge of Parasaram & Jaimini Sutras. You are exceptionally good Engineer, Financier also very good enthusiast of Vedic Astrology!

    Thank you

  13. Sandeep says:

    Hi VS,

Thank you for this excellent interpretation !
Could you elaborate on the stationary direct nature of Jupiter in this chart. From the little I have learned so far the Jupiter placement in this chart is relatively unexceptional, yet he was sworn in during Jupiter MD.

    Thanks,

    • VS says:

Jupiter is a natural and functional benefic for the chart in a good navamsa. its rashi depositor is very strongly placed in its own house of gain making a 2-5-11 connection that gives wealth

the raj yoga for jupiter comes from exact trinality to sun and rahu. Sun is very strong in direction and shadbal and rahu is exalted. sun-jup make for a 1-5 house connects which is a first grade raj yoga in itself, rahu co rules 7th and so it is a 1-5-7 connection. further from arudha lagna, jupiter is again a top rate benfic owning 2nd and 5th and sitting in 11th aspecting the raj yoga house of 5th. 5th house is the seat of power in jyotish and is deeply connected to political positions (in all texts from parasara to phaladeepika to jamini etc)

Please read my ‘How to interpret a Mahadasa’ article in the advanced lessons to see what points to consider while judging a maha dasa

      • Sundar says:

VS, the Jupiter dasa has not been that good for him. He has been disgraced, lost a lot of wealth (owes 400 million in the next 3 years with no apparent legit source to cover that ) and has had problems from the start from the Guru AD. Guru is weak in avasya and baladi avasta bala. It is giving the results of the 3rd, MKS. From AL, it is the 12th bhaav. Perhaps, had Guru been better positioned say in the 5th or 4th deposited by Mars, he could still be in a winning position despite the shani bhukti and the Saturn transit since Shani also forms a VPR.
Like every other opinion I convey in your site, everything is learnt from you. If I learnt wrong, it’s my mistake, so kindly correct.

        • VS says:

Let me try to mention a few points here for the greater good of astrology students, including yourself.

          1) You are intermingling emotions/ opinion with astrology here. It does come across in your points, which is fine and human, but not productive in terms of predictive astrology. For example his 400 million plus debt was not accumulated in the Jupiter MD which began only in late 2016/ early 2017. Rather this debt was accumulated over the decades before the Jup MD itself. Infact as per the NYT release, he had used these ‘losses’ to avoid paying any tax for 10 over the last 15 yrs

          2) It can be argued that since Jup MD, he/ has family might have actually benefited indirectly in terms of finances and even in avoiding much potential litigation, in which sense Jup MD has helped him greatly

          3) Jupiter is involved in Raj yoga with Sun (exact trinal). His sun degree is around 29 in Taurus and hence his Arudha Lagna is 29 degrees in Scorpio, making Jupiter close to 11th bhaav madhya in the Arudha chart, strongly aspecting its own house -5th (which is the seat of power in Jyotish). 5th and 10th along with karakas sun, moon and rahu are the entities to be seen in terms of Politics and powerful administrative positions of any kind

          4) Jupiter in Lagna is 2nd rashi, 3rd bhaav with MK 5th house. MK 5th and friendship with sun makes it a functional benefic. Its already a generic benefic. Also in a generally benefic sign of Virgo and in the nakshatra of mars the yoga karaka planet and navamsa of Sun the strong Lagna lord

          5) from Virgo, it fully aspects pisces. Now pisces from arudha I have explained above is highly positive as in point 3 above. From lagna, this activation of own house will give bhaav results of 9th (as Jupiter is in 3rd in bhaav chart) but also 8th as pisces is the 8th sign. 8th is change, structural big change in life. Change of place/ career/ position etc almost always involves 8th. 8th is not always negative. Sometimes change is great, although change is always stressful to some extent by definition. Jupiter/ Jupiter activated 8th and 9th (change plus luck) from lagna which manifests as Power and luck (5th) from arudha lagna. Thus jupiter/ jupiter was sufficiently strong to maintain power

          6) that said, jupiter standalone in virgo is not that great and yes from lagna its bhaav strength is weak as it goes into 3rd. The 3rd bhaav gets damaged (he lost his younger brother in this MD)

          7) As I have mentioned before Rahu in any chart is a strong reflector. It acts as a vacuum cleaner of the energy around it in the sign it is placed as well as any planet conjunct it, trinal to it or aspecting it. Rahu in this absorbs the raj yoga sun-jupiter trinality and dispensed its results towards the end of Rahu MD. Jup/ Jup was barely enough to hold the weak strings. However Jup/ Saturn is unlikely to hold anything as saturn is very weak and a functional and generic malefic placed in the 12th from lagna and 9th rashi but 8th bhaav from arudha lagna.

when Rahu sits with any planet or yoga in a chart, it will dispense the yoga and the actual yoga causing planet will dispense rahu’s results to some extent, which means that the yoga causing planets can give erratic and sudden negative results which mimic rahu – sudden turanaround, scandals, wild swings in fortune etc. so this is the crux to understand here which is not straightforward – rahu will reflect the raj yoga whereas jupiter and sun will be negative in the dasas!

you can pick up 100 charts and analyze the dasas of rahu impacted planets and its always the same. example look at the chart of Bobby Jindal. Leo ascendant and mars the YK exalted in 6th (excellent position for mars) conjunct deeply with Rahu. All this trinal to sun, saturn, venus and mercury – more to Sun in the 10th. Again sun- rahu – 10th connection and hence politics. now mars the strong YK was dicey in its results. Giving plus or minus results. Rahu on the other hand dispensed the strong Raj yoga results. I have seen this impact unfold time and again with Rahu in hundreds of charts over the years

          • Sundar says:

Thanks VS. The new concept that I learnt here is that the AL degree will be the same as the Lagna lord degree, I was thinking it was the same as lagna degree.
I have a follow up question: Since guru (5h lord) and Sun (10th lord) are close to AL degree and trinal, does it not operate as a raj yoga even if Rahu is left out of the equation?

          • VS says:

well yeah it does, dont you think he has had a successful career and status despite the dasas? strong raj yogas, once activated in life, do tend to operate through out life. Good and bad yogas also exist side by side in jyotish. they dont just cancel each other out. as an example, the same Rahu that made Rajiv a PM suddenly in its dasa, was also the same Rahu that took his life in a violent, tragic fashion. So one thing to be careful is to not think of any planet or yoga as binary. mostly it is some shades of grey and different for different aspects of life

  14. Abhishek Pande says:

Vivek, just read your follow-up post as well. As far as the earlier article was concerned, flawless predictions (and the beautiful explanation of the analysis that lies underneath) such as these will reaffirm students / researchers beliefs on the correlations between astral movements and life events – for those who appreciate and are willing to learn further). Feel really sorry for the negative sentiments sent your way through emails as this site is and should be meant purely for jyotish discussions.

Among the several predictions made about career, health and outcome of election in that article, the one that you made about the lack of clarity on the outcome and sense of delay lingering till Nov 20th – that prediction is a masterpiece IMHO! Provides insights into the importance of looking at sensitive navamsha points in transits – which is great.

Thanks again for doing such a selfless service to Jyotish and its researchers.

  15. Lavanya says:

Hi VS, thank you for the excellent analysis. Especially Nov 20th and current situation.
One point I noted in the above comments, you have mentioned Jup in 3rd bhava and he lost his younger brother during J MD – I have studied only Mars in 3rd bhava will damage younger brother. then why Jupiter as Jupiter is generally a benefic planet? Does this mean any planets in 3rd bhava, during its dasa, will harm the younger brother? Sorry if I am asking a silly question. Thank you.

    • VS says:

Whenever any planet is in the marana karaka sthana, it will damage the significations of that house. 3rd is for siblings and jupiter is MK there. That said, Mars in 3rd if afflicted or own house without any other planet or aspect can give bhaavo karaka naashe for younger siblings, especially younger brothers.

      • Lavanya says:

Thank you. If Ketu is in 3rd bhava and during ketu MD, would it affect younger siblings life as ketu acts likes Mars?

      • Sundar says:

        Hello VS:
Why does a planet in MKS only spoil the house it sits in and still be able to support the houses if it loses strength?
        Thanks

        • VS says:

MKS means the karakatva of that bhaav is destroyed. Not the significations or rulership of the planet itself. If the planet is exalted or own house then its damage is much less even to the bhaav just because the planet is in its best and happy state. Damage will still be there. 3rd is courage and say jupiter exalted in 3rd bhaav will be good for longevity as 8th lord exalted in 3rd but the person will not be a fighter at all and will be extremely giving and forgiving in nature and not fight back in situations at all.

  16. Karthik says:

    Hello VS,

Such an amazing accuracy in your predictions!! My sister’s family in the US is stunned when I showed this – especially on the clarity of the results. It might be a stupid question – but I could not understand the astrological reason for the delay in the results. Abhishek’s post indicates the influence of navamsa points. Would be great if you could explain it for better understanding of the beginners. Thanks.

    • VS says:

      Thanks for the kind words.

As for your question regarding navamsa points, I have a new article that explains that. here is the link for your reference –

      http://www.theartofvedicastrology.com/?page_id=790

      • Sundar says:

        Hello VS:
My understanding of the 64th navamsa that Guru is transitting from Sun/Rahu yoga is:
Guru is transitting in the 9th navamsa of dhanur.
Sun is at 29 in Taurus, 5 rasis from Gemini to Scorpio is 54 navamsas. So 1+54+9 = 64th navamsa.
Let me know if this correct.

        • VS says:

64th navamsa is just exact 8th from any point

a lot has been written about 64th navamsa and 22nd drekkana in theory. But its usually discussed only in terms of lagna or moon which is fine. However the 64th navamsa from every single planet is important likewise for major transits

          • Sundar says:

Is my understanding of the 64th navamsa from the rasi chart ( that guru is transitting in the 64th from Taurus’s ninth navamsa ) incorrect then?
            Thanks VS

          • VS says:

again 64th navamsa is the exact 8th from any point. Rahu and sun for him are in the last (9th) navamsa in taurus. hence any planet transiting in the last navamsa of saggi will be in the 64th navamsa from this yoga (rahu-sun)
when saturn transited this place – January 2020, the damage was done to his career/ image as rahu-sun yoga gives power and fame in 10th/11th. Jan is when Covid started slowly creeping into US and incorrect decisions (karma- saturn) were taken on behalf of the native. Jupiter as a giving forgiving benefic and also virgottam in its MK is just temporarily delaying the inevitable while transiting this navamsa till Nov 20th 2020. however once jupiter goes into capricorn rasi and navamsa, also making it deeply debilitated, this final thin thread of transit support will be over. 6th -12th axis is of litigation, enemies, loans, sickness and jail/ hospitalization/ moving abroad etc. this will remain heavily activated for him till April 2021 atleast and then again for 3 months towards end of 2021

Thanks for clearing up the 64th navamsa VS. I understood it correctly from seeing your answer. It’s the saturn’s transit in the 64th navamsa as you mentioned. Thanks for being patient.

    Dear VS

Thank you for your edifying analysis of Trump’s election prospects, and the follow up prediction. I am amazed at how you connect the dots and then come up with a prediction.

I was wondering whether you could please update your prediction on COVID and the economy/stock market? Despite all odds the US stock market has been on fire, fueled by the Fed in my opinion. Do you still expect a major correction in the market before March 2021? Really appreciate if you could post a follow up, especially given that you are a finance expert in addition to a brilliant astrologer.

    Regards

I always feel a bit reserved in making mundane astrology predictions because my expertise is in astrology as it relates to individual horoscopes. Countries or the world dont have dasas as they relate to a lifetime of a human as defined in jyotish and thus its always a bit of speculation

Jupiter is in atichar motion in and around Capricorn- its debilitating sign and thus it is very weak as per jyotish definition. This remains in effect till it permanently comes into Aquarius in end of 2021. Till then it rushes thru Capricorn into Aquarius and then comes back into Capricorn…so entire 2021, Jupiter’s transit can not be considered very great

    Dear VS
What happens when a planet is in MKS in a dushtana? Say, Venus in 6th house? If it destroys the significations of that house, does this mean that the “bad” effects of the house will not occur?
    Regards
    KRS

    • VS says:

by definition MKS implies the good qualities of any house. even dusthana houses have a good side too. Example 8th can give long life, good inheritance or gain in speculation etc. 6th can give victory over enemies, good health and the ability to fight and persevere in difficult situations. Venus when in 6th, makes a person not confrontational at all. they dont know how to say No in any situation as they are always trying to please and not get into any argument and hence the potential good qualities of 6th – to be critical and fight back in adverse situations is nullified by venus in 6th

      • Sundar says:

Yes VS, re: Venus in the 6th. I see a chart, Aqua lagna, being lord of the 4th and 9th, it can also create a lot of enemity with mother and father (more enemity due to 9th being MK). But this person is a Simha rasi with Moon in Leo and Sun in Cancer (6th), not a great parivartana, but a real fighter who takes it into the enemy camp.

  19. Sandeep says:

    Dear VS,

Sorry for a very basic question. Are dusthana seen from Rashi placement or bhav ? For instance moon in eight rashi from Laguna in MKS – but in the 9th bhav. Is this a dusthana placement ?

    Thanks

    Sandeep

    • VS says:

any planet when in a rashi gets colored or modified by the functional and generic nature of the rashi lord. if the rashi lord is a functional benefic, that nature will come into the planet also
bhaav is the manner in which the planet will behave during its dasas. total effects will be mixed. so if a planet is in the 8th rashi and 9th bhaav, the results will be mixed of both these houses

Very nice analysis. Wanted to get your astrological view on the upcoming solar eclipse on Dec 14 which coincidentally is the date when electors vote in their representative states. How would this solar eclipse influence Trump? Can we expect anything unexpected?

    • VS says:

thanks. Transits of all kinds keep happening all the time. not every transit will have a special implication for Trump or anyone else

  21. Leo says:

Excellent analysis! This and the Biden analysis are among the best Vedic analyses I’ve read. Your detailed examination of the natal chart, dasa, and transits are truly enlightening!

In light of recent legal setbacks for Trump, it’d be great if you could ascertain whether he will go to jail for his various illicit activities.

Besides the NY civil and criminal investigations, some say the newly-granted Georgia grand jury to investigate his efforts to overturn the 2020 election results could spell his doom.

And I eagerly await your delineation of Kamala Harris’ chart as well.

    Thank you!
